Port Alberni

 

 

 

 

I got new tires for my bike, so I went for a ride through Port Alberni to Sproat lake to break them in. It was fun ride although there were a few too many tourists in RV's to deal with.

Working for the weekend

 

I finally started an electrical apprenticeship last month. Not that I was suprised, but it was a shock to my system getting used to getting up early in the morning, and doign real work all day. The kind where I get sweaty, dirty, banged up, and sore for way less money than the candy job I had in an office. As you can see by the picture, the hardest thing I had to do was fight boredom.

Bronze dogs

 

Someone filled up the cup on a bronze statue with sliced hot dogs. I think it was a poor attempt at art, but I still kinda wanted to eat it.

Dirty BBQ

 

I got a BBQ. It's not at my house and I don't own it, but it's mine. This gormet meal is hot and mustard/pepper wings, BBQ sauced beans, and mango. It all went into a bown together and we ate it with our finger. I finished all the knuckles.

I think I may have been the cause of this. The drunk bitch in the red asked if she could borrow my skateboard, and I didn't even acknowledge her. She got pretty pissed off at getting ignored and one of the dudes tried to calm her down. She got out of line and he punched her in the face so hard she fell down right as the cops were driving by. Hope he has fun in jail.

I moved into a new apartment a block away from chinatown and shopping at the chinese markets is awesome. I don't know how the hell they engineered these abominations of nature, but I like it. I tried to take a picture of the four inch tall rhinoceros in a bird cage, but the shop keeper hit me with a broom.
